Karin Taheny is an experienced independent board member and digital leader with a strong proven track record in leading digital transformations and strategic change. As Chief Digital & Technology Officer at Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE), the Swiss state-mandated for export and investment promotion, she leads global digital and technology initiatives.
Karin brings extensive governance experience across sectors. She serves on the Supervisory Board of Marcuard Family Office (FINMA regulated), focusing on data security, service innovation, and succession planning, and is Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board at Schulverlag plus AG, where she supports digital innovation in educational publishing. She previously chaired the Supervisory Board of Avobis Data AG, driving AI, big data, and blockchain solutions in PropTech. Across her mandates, she has received national and international acclaim for driving innovation, shaping digital solutions and championing future‑focused leadership.
Combining strategic vision with hands-on execution, Karin is committed to empowering Young Leaders and fostering inclusive, innovative cultures. She has been closely engaged with One Young World Switzerland, including as a keynote speaker at the 2023 National Congress in Lausanne.
